Hey guys, my name is Brandon and my wonderful wife and adopted dog, are a large part of my life. While my main job is working for the insurance field, my passion is electronic dance music. For as long as I can remember, EDM has been a part of who I am. 

 

Like you, I love music and have listened to over 30,000 songs between iTunes, YouTube, Spotify and SoundCloud. During college, I personally categorized over 50 different EDM genres and created a small blog where I reviewed songs. 

 

In 2016, I made my big break and began writing for a company called The EDM Collective, which ultimately lead me to start working at EDM Joy. During this time, I got the chance to connect with artists and industry tastemakers, while sharing my love of EDM. 

 

Looking back, I’m so humbled to have written over 300 articles in the EDM industry- ranging from press releases and song reviews to featured talent and interviews with artists. My time writing for EDM Joy as Editor in Chief was unforgettable and I am thankful for the experiences that brought me closer to the EDM community. 

 

In the past few years, I’ve also written for companies like EDMSøfa, New Breed Radio, and GoldenArts. One of my favorite experiences was getting the opportunity to be a judge for music competition, Unsigned Only, for two years. My time in the EDM community has allowed me to craft professional press releases and create artist bios and aesthetic web content.

 

I made this website to act as my online portfolio and to include all of my original content. Now that I’m continuing my career as a freelance writer, this portfolio will be the home of my new content and a place to offer my skills as a writer to create articles for artists, artist interviews, PR content for artists and so much more.
