After a few months in the studio carefully crafting his next project, Able Grey has finally made a return following the release of his Cyberpunk inspired, cinematic ride aptly titled 'Absence / Seperation.' Now, he combines melodic energies and dubstep with the serene, soulful and powerful vocals of Noelle Michelle to offer listeners a truly memorable experience.
Since releasing songs like 'Beautiful Day,' 'Afterglow,' 'You' and 'The Wave,' Able Grey has made it clear that he can create music across a wide variety of genres across the spectrum of the EDM soundscapes. He has dabbled in future bass, mid-tempo, melodic dub and indie dance electronica to even darker, more industrial sounds. Amidst the growth, he is now ready for his next new chapter, which starts with his new single, 'Otherside.'
As a Chicago based DJ and producer, Able Grey has had the opportunity to play multiple shows at some of the biggest venues in the city, pre-covid. From clubs like The Mid, Prysm and Sub 51 to Aveda and Base Camp to so many others, he likely undoubtedly misses in-person events. However, that hasn't stopped him from throwing live performances over the last couple months in-between studio sessions. Drawing from that same level of energy, he most recently performed a live show titled "SENSATION" at Liquid Madison from Wisconsin.
Following from that filmmaking experience of "SENSATION," Able Grey has now unveiled his latest record 'Otherside.' Steering from the dark dystopia of the recent release 'Absence / Seperation,' he now presents a brighter, more uplifting track. A song that features atmospherically infused swirls of electricity, pumping melodic energies, wavy elements of dubstep and tasteful switches, this is one of his best productions yet.
What makes 'The Otherside' a special release for Able Grey is that it not only marks the launch of his next mini chapter, but also because it features vocals by the talented Noelle Michelle. Two artists that go way back, he chose Noelle because he knew that her powerful voice could match the energy, take it over and make it truly something to remember. She shares on social media that her message is that people need to come together, spread love, not give up and come together.
Planning to release a remix of 'The Otherside' in the coming weeks, this is just the first of many records new listeners and fans alike can expect in the next few months from Able Grey and starting with a massive production like this one was quite the way to start! The possibilities are limitless as for what we will hear next, but we will undoubtedly be blown away!
