Scotland's Demi Mcmahon Comes Together With Duo Group Audio Phunk To Release 'TRY'

After first gaining its inception in 2018, singer, songwriter and artist Demi Mcmahon is now collaborating with DJ and producing duo group Audio Phunk to re-release their song 'TRY.' With her lyrics about people persevering through tough days, this is a time that the world needs her calming, empowering and uplifting energy the most.

As the vocalist on new release 'TRY,' Demi Mcmahon is one of Scotland’s quickest growing, upbeat and colorful artists. She not only grabs people's attention with her warm, caring personality, but she also captivates listeners all around the globe with her smooth, power pop energy and mesmerizing vocals. With a love of music from a young age, Demi Mcmahon knew with absolute certainty that she wanted to pursue a career singing and performing.

For the majority of Demi Mcmahon's career, she has expressed that very love of singing and has since made a name for herself. From performing at local gigs and bigger name festivals like The Edinburgh Fringe and Oktoberfest, supporting artists Malcolm Bruce and Stevie Mcrorrie on tours throughout Scotland to making a TV appearance on BBC Scotland show, Love Song, she has without a doubt pursued her passion as a singer and performer.

While Demi Mcmahon provided her captivatingly, uplifting lyrics and vocals on ‘TRY,’ the song was first produced by Audio Phunk in 2018. Audio Phunk is a DJ and producing duo group consisting of members Jocky Mclean and Austyn Drummond. Jocky had eighteen years of experience under his belt playing at some of the biggest clubs and events in Europe, Ibiza and UK. Meanwhile, Austyn had been learning to produce, self educate and practice since the age of sixteen before eventually coming together with Jocky as Audio Phunk.

As Audio Phunk, these guys have collaborated with Demi Mcmahon to remaster 'TRY' with her powerful, captivating and lovely vocals alongside the carefully crafted gentle chords, calming structure and aesthetic melody of the song. With elements of 'TRY' drawing inspiration from early sounds of deadmau5, this is a remastered version that will surely capture the attention of listeners everywhere.

Amid the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, Demi Mcmahon has embraced her passion for charity alongside her love of music and singing to help others with her collaborative release alongside Audio Phunk. Just releasing 'TRY,' she will be raising money during these surreal times for NHS Tayside in Scotland from the proceeds coming from the views/streams of their song.
