Texas based artist DJ Ross Tha Boss has returned to the industry after releasing her second album It's a Boss's World last year. An album that was a mix of dubstep, trap, house and other heavier bass genres, now she offers her latest bumping, electric house track 'Back Around.'
Getting her alias from a high school band director in her hometown of Louisiana, DJ Ross Tha Boss started her career as a DJ and producer in 2012. She first gained exposure to DJing by watching Jersey Shore's Pauly D and later learned to produce and DJ after later discovering hardstyle and dubstep underlord DJ BL3ND on YouTube.
For the next few years to follow, DJ Ross Tha Boss educated herself by watching videos in order to learn how to use DJ controllers. With time and practice, she eventually began to express her own taste in electronic dance music by posting her own mixes. Learning to produce, she released her first original song 'Rave,' an electro house trap hybrid handmade with her own kick drum.
Since her first production in 2015, DJ Ross Tha Boss has released a myriad of tracks, garnering the support and feedback from other DJs and producers that she likes and listens to. Dabbling with multiple genres like dubstep, trap, progressive house, jungle terror, big room house, electro house and more, the support she has gotten has allowed her to grow and persevere as an artist.
Jump ahead five years, DJ Ross Tha Boss now returns to the EDM soundscapes with her latest electric single 'Back Around.' A song with ominous vocals, bumping bass, pounding synths and a powerful melody, this makes for a fantastic first hardstyled house release in 2020. Offering just a taste of what's to come this year, listeners will have to keep an eye on this rising artist!
