Since unveiling his Winds of Change EP and launching two editions of his essentials inspired mix series "The Deep End" during the summer, F!N makes another return from the deep. This time, he comes together with TVCCI on their collaborative heavy hitter, 'Impact.' Teasing the release for weeks, the production is now out and ready to blast speakers everywhere!
One half of the collaborative effort behind 'Impact' comes from North Carolina based DJ, producer, songwriter and guitarist F!N. An artist who has been immersed in music most of his life, he began releasing music in 2016. He first debuted onto the scene with electro house single 'MAG!C' and then quickly began diving into the heavy spectrum of bass music with successor songs like 'Origami,' 'Swerve,' 'Shark Week' and trap infused dubstep hybrid 'Turnt Up.'
Jump nearly five years later and F!N has gone on to truly evolve as an artist, having revealed his eclectically diverse and long awaited Winds of Change EP. Released earlier this summer, the extended play features five records in total, from pulsating club vibes, wobbly dubstep and edgy riddim to elements of trap and ambience. Since then, he has been working on productions in the studio, has hosted livestreams on Twitch for "The Deep End" and is preparing for fall events that have yet to be announced.
The second half of the collaborative effort behind 'Impact' comes from TVCCI, a bass and electronic artist based out of Tampa, Florida. A bit of a newcomer who just recently began publicly releasing music at the start of 2020, he pulls from a diverse library of sounds so that listeners will always hear something unique and sometimes unheard throughout his music and in his sets. He set the tone for what was to come after officially debuting his career with wild and intense dubstep banger 'Tunnel Vision.'
Growing up in South Florida, DJ and producer TVCCI has actually been surrounded by music for much of his life. He was immersed in musical theatre for a decade and always found time for the arts, whether it was through music, photo, film or acting. Between this experience, being exposed to a variety of genres and gaining an early appreciation for tracks carried by heavy 808s and thick baselines are all large parts of what have made him the artist he is today.
Over the course of the past few months, TVCCI has been carefully crafting, yet to be heard productions, as he searches for his signature sound. In the meantime, he has treated fans with four separate installments of his "Upload" mix series, which not only presents his skills as a DJ, but also showcases his taste in music. With influences like EDM titan Skrillex, Peekaboo, Liquid Stranger and Zeds Dead, alongside tastes in genres including dubstep, experimental bass, trap and 90’s/00’s hip-hop, people will hear an assortment of EDM flavors that he has to offer.
Amidst TVCCI's debut this year and F!N's resurface onto the EDM soundscapes with his Winds of Change EP, the two met as the summer came to an end. They have since been collaborating on different projects, including the second installment of "The Deep End," which saw TVCCI performing his latest live set on F!N's Twitch. Having started to collaborate with one another in September, they quickly found a workflow, bounced ideas off each other and after multiple revisions, 'Impact' was born.
Just released today, 'Impact' offers powerful bass, intense synths, ominous screams, tasteful wubs, dark vibes and an overall heavy hitting sound. TVCCI and F!N joke saying that, "we could probably make a collaborative EP with the amount of content that 'Impact' gave us." Seeing a collaboration like this one that blends their complimenting styles so effortlessly will surely make listeners excited to read this news.
The collaborative efforts of TVCCI and F!N are bound to make quite the impact on both their careers, independently and together. Fans of these DJs and producers are going to have blast headphones to this one, while waiting eagerly for what comes next!
