Jake Justice Glimpses Future With Vibrant Release 'Ghosts In The Water'

As a follow up to his 2020 debut of 'Naturality' alongside COSMIC PLURR, Los Angeles based DJ, producer, singer, songwriter and instrumental musician Jake Justice is back with his best track yet, 'Ghosts in the Water.'

Spending years developing his sound, Jake Justice has been prepping for a massive release like this one for a long time. In 2019, he gave fans a taste of what was to come with mixtape Made In LA, which featured a combination of remixes and original work. The compilation release featured the likes of tasteful bassy rework of Mama and Ellie Goulding's collaborative release 'Clean Bandits' and original cinematically filled trap song 'Warehouse District' amongst others.

With years of experience under his belt as a pianist, keytarist and songwriter, Jake Justice is a seasoned DJ and producer that was bound to offer a gargantuan release eventually. 'Ghosts in the Water' features a myriad of tasteful elements embedded throughout. From its melodic chord structures, cinematic build ups and pulsating tempo to its haunting vocal samples, vibrant synths and mesmerizing melody, this is an atmospheric hit for the masses.

Worthy of major label recognition from big names like Monstercat, OWSLA and Ophelia Records, 'Ghosts in the Water' is a little slice of heaven trap. Not only does this song invoke the spirits of SLANDER and Party Thieve's collaborative remix for Audien's edit of Bastille's 'Pompeii' from five years ago, but it also draws from the energies of Deadmau5, Seven Lions and melodic drum'n'bass.

Giving listeners a glimpse into the future, Jake Justice has recently said, "there needs to be a balance between marking art that connects with people and authentic self expression. This, for me, is the purest form of authentic self-expression." His new release, 'Ghosts in the Water,' not only feels authentic, but it's an absolute vibrant bass-filled hybrid masterpiece.
