Only publicly launching his career in late 2018, DJ and producer NoahConn has already gone on to release a slew of impressive songs like his lofi influenced hit 'Forest Feels,' wonky bone-chilling future bass single 'Wavy Days' and indie-chill debut 'Reminisce' to name a few. While he is a youthful spirit, this is an artist destined to rise and his Flowers EP will help him do just that.
NoahConn is a DJ, producer and artist based out of Indiana who has been surrounded by music his entire life. Starting his career as a musician playing piano when he was only five years old, he eventually picked up other instruments like guitar, recorders, cello and the bass guitar. He began later playing the oboe in 6th grade and has been playing it ever since, for 10 years. Now, he majors in oboe performance at Ball State University with a double major in computer science.
With an interest in making electronic dance music, NoahConn decided to buy Ableton in 2018 and slowly began writing and producing. During the summer of that year, he attended his first festival, Electric Forest, and gained an all new perspective on live music. Deciding he wanted to recreate that experience, he went on to spend the next two years writing constantly to find his sound.
NoahConn has explored a variety of genres across the music industry like hip-hop, pop, future bass and lofi amongst others during his journey in the past couple years to find his sound. He has found medasin to be one of his biggest inspirations with the producer's fantastic sound design and brilliant chordal structures. Now, with his recently released Flowers EP, he presents a signature blend of some of his favorite genres to offer something truly stunning.
NoahConn truly offers something for everyone with each song on his Flowers EP. Starting with the introduction track, 'Want You the Most' features smooth vocals, ambient noises, funky vibes and a bright melody. If people keep listening, they will be faced with the vibrant energy of 'Nostalgia,' lofi/future bass hybrid title track 'Flowers,' soul-bending nature of 'Memory Lane' and funky, raw future bass record 'Get Glad' to end the journey.
While the EP was out on SoundCloud early for friends and family, Flowers is officially out now on Spotify! Show support for this up and coming DJ and producer as this is just the beginning for this soon to be rising artist!
