Rapper, singer and songwriter Ravey Rave has been on fire in 2020 with a string of diverse releases across the hip-hop, rap and R&B spectrum, while also dabbing with elements of club music and more alternative sounds. Based out of Ohio, Ravey Rave is an artist who has been surrounded by music for the majority of her life. Beginning to write poetry, lyrics and songs when she was only in grade school, she was fortunate enough to have supporting parents who exposed her to singing and DJing. Excluded from collaborating with some people, she eventually got her own gear and began creating music with others from her school.
Years later, Ravey Rave went on to win various rap competitions on YouTube and Facebook and released her debut single 'How Does it Feel' in 2018. Known first as an R&B and pop artist, she has actually since become known as an eclectic rapper after she unveiled her mixtapes Chemical X, which offered a blend of hip-hop, chilled out future bass, R&B and trap music, alongside rap and rock hybrid EP, Teenage Dreams.
With absolute certainty, Ravey Rave is a rapper, singer and songwriter capable of making music that everyone can enjoy. Her top influences range from artists like Missy Elliot, Aaliyah, Spice Girls, Evanescence, Linkin Park and Panic! at the Disco amongst others to recent names such as Tierra Whack, BANKS, Megan Thee Stallion, Twenty One Pilots and other independent artists. These influences and her early support are what make her an unquestionably powerful rapper.
Bringing together her experiences with her influences, Ravey Rave takes things to the next level with her single 'Goons.' Released earlier this year, this record is undoubtedly one of her best hip-hop songs, as it features bumping bass, clever lyrical prowess, clean vocals and an alt-trap-rap melody. With nostalgic artwork, a dark trap sound and lyrics about squading up, this anthem is bound to blare across fan's speakers.
With a coming EP project titled Jimy + Amy teased to present a collective fusion of blues, soul, jazz and R&B in addition to her second mixtape B.O.L.D.
