Southrydge Freedom Unveils Bass-Infused Chilled Out Record 'Yesterday'

After a couple years of needed solace, DJ and producer Southrydge Freedom has returned to the EDM soundscapes to offer a fresh sound with two new songs in 2020. As a follow up to his riddim styled dubstep track 'The Legion,' this mysterious artist is back again, but this time with chilled out bass production 'Yesterday.'

While DJ and producer Southrydge Freedom has just recently began releasing new music again, he is actually an artist who has been in the scene for many years. Starting his career as early as 2007, he began teaching himself how to create hip-hop beats using FL Studio with early inspiration from Soulja Boy.

Eventually, Southrydge Freedom got into electronic dance music by discovering DJ, producer and instrumentalist Tonic, who is now known as Deorro. This shifted his focus from hip-hop to EDM and would lead him to spend the next couple years learning, practicing and honing his craft. Jumping just a few years later, he gained the experience of a lifetime, being offered the opportunity to open a rave for the artist himself in 2012.

In almost a decade, Southrydge Freedom has persevered as an artist. He is slowly discovering his signature sound and is beginning to put a heavier focus on a preference for chill vibes, melodic music and heavier bass. Now, he captivates the attention of listeners all around the globe with his new song 'Yesterday,' incorporating smooth vocals, a thumping chilled-out club tempo, gentle melody and pulsating bass.
